Lawn care
Lawn care and maintenance in Brawley and the Imperial Valley
The service most of my customers start with. I come every week or every two weeks, cut it, edge it, blow the walkways off, and take the clippings with me. Month to month, no contract.
- Weekly or bi-weekly
- No contract, month to month
- Clippings hauled away
What every visit includes
Same routine every time, so you always know what you paid for.
Mowing at the right height
Cut too short and the desert sun burns the crown out. I cut to the height the grass can actually hold in this heat, and I change it with the season.
Edging along the hard surfaces
Walkways, driveway, and beds get a clean edge. It is the single thing that makes a yard look cared for from the street.
Blown off before I leave
Walkways, driveway, and patio cleared. No clippings tracked into the house.
Clippings bagged and hauled
They leave with me. You are not left with bags at the curb waiting for collection day.
Weed control on a schedule
Not every visit. On a schedule that actually matches when weeds come up here.
Fertilizing on a schedule
Same idea. Feeding a lawn at the wrong time of year in the Imperial Valley wastes money and can burn it.
How often a lawn needs cutting here
The Imperial Valley is not a normal climate, and a lawn schedule copied off a national website will not fit it.
March to October
Every week
Warm-season grass like Bermuda grows fast once the heat arrives. Skip to every other week and you end up scalping it to catch up, which browns it out.
November to February
Every two weeks
Growth slows right down. Cutting weekly through winter is mostly you paying me to drive over.
Peak summer
Every week, cut higher
Longer blades shade their own roots and hold moisture. This is the single biggest thing that keeps a lawn alive through July and August here.
If you are not sure which schedule fits your yard, I will tell you at the estimate. I would rather put you on every two weeks and be right than sell you a weekly slot you do not need.

What it costs
Priced on the size of the lawn, how much edging there is, and whether it is weekly or every two weeks. You get the number in writing before the first visit.
Refer a friend or neighbour who books a job and your next service is 5% off. That is the only discount I run, so the price you are quoted is already my best one.

Questions about lawn care and maintenance
How often will you come?
Weekly from roughly March to October and every two weeks through the winter, though it depends on your grass and your yard. I will recommend a schedule at the estimate and you can change it later.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. It is month to month. If you want to pause for a season or stop altogether, just tell me.
Do you take the clippings away?
Yes, every visit. They go with me, so you are not left with bags at the curb.
What happens if I am not home?
Nothing changes. As long as I can get to the yard I do the work and you get a message when it is done. Just make sure gates are unlocked or tell me where the key is.
Is weed control and fertilizing included or extra?
Both are part of the regular service, on a schedule rather than every single visit. I will tell you at the estimate what that schedule looks like for your lawn.
